Video display and remote door release depend on the door-station model, receiving endpoint, PBX configuration, codecs, firmware, network policy, and security settings, so interoperability should be tested before full deployment.

Do all models include a camera and card reader?

No. The family includes audio-only and video models, and credential capabilities differ. The GDS3710 combines video with RFID, while the GDS3705 is audio focused with RFID. The GDS3702 provides an audio intercom approach without the same reader function. Current GDS3720 models support broader combinations of video and entry methods. Always check the selected datasheet.

Is the series suitable for outdoor installation?

Selected models are designed for exposed environments. Current GDS3720 models have IP66 weather protection, with IK10 vandal resistance on GDS3725 and GDS3726 and IK07 on GDS3727. Other models use rugged weather-resistant construction. Installation still requires correct mounting, sealed cabling, surge planning, suitable accessories, drainage, and protection appropriate to the site.

Does PoE power the electric lock as well?

PoE powers the door station where the network switch or injector provides the required standard and budget. The electric lock may need a separate power supply sized for its voltage, current, duty cycle, and emergency behaviour. A qualified installer should confirm relay loading, isolation, fail-safe or fail-secure operation, fire-system release, backup power, and manual override.

How is availability and warranty confirmed?

Availability depends on the exact model, accessory set, supplier status, quantity, and destination. Warranty terms depend on the supply channel and commercial offer.
