Do I need a special network switch?
The switch must provide the required PoE or PoE+ class, enough total power, sufficient ports and controls suitable for real-time audio. Quality of service, multicast behavior, VLAN design and the ability to disable Energy Efficient Ethernet should be reviewed. A basic unmanaged switch may not be appropriate for every design.
How many microphones and speakers will my room need?
There is no reliable answer based only on participant count. Device quantity depends on room dimensions, ceiling height, seating pattern, acoustic surfaces, presenter areas, speaker coverage and whether the room divides. Yealink reference designs are useful starting points, but final quantities should be validated against the actual room.
Can the system work with multi-camera Teams Rooms?
Selected SkySound designs integrate with Yealink Microsoft Teams Room systems and can support precise speaker-tracking experiences with compatible multi-camera configurations. The exact room host, cameras, processing and firmware should be confirmed as one design before purchase. Do not assume that every camera combination supports the same behavior.
What warranty information should a buyer request?
Request the warranty period for each quoted model, the service route, coverage limitations, destination eligibility and the process for assessment or replacement. Also clarify whether installation, tuning and network configuration are included in support, because hardware warranty normally does not automatically cover every aspect of an integrated room project.
Can businesses request bulk or multi-room supply?
Yes. For a multi-room project, group rooms by type and provide quantities, drawings, destination, preferred deployment period and service scope. A standard design can be created for each room category, then checked against individual site conditions. Bulk supply still depends on component availability and should be confirmed through a current quotation.
